Q: We don't have cash in the house anymore. Can I donate by card?

• A: Of course - stop one of Santa's helpers who will point you to the card machine elves where you can donate any amount you like by tapping your card - We also have QR codes on our collecting buckets, which makes donating very easy.

Q: If my road isn't highlighted, can I request Santa takes a detour?

• A: Sadly we can't get round every house on every road so if only part of your road is highlighted on the route, you're best to get yourself to that part of your road. He's magical, but has limited powers away from actual Christmas Day.

Q: Can I give Santa a hot drink or mince pie?

• A: Please leave these out on Christmas Eve as normal, as doing these extra days on the sleigh means that Santa hasn't made it to the gym this week, so doesn't need the sugar.

Q: Where does the money go that I donate?

• A: To local childrens charities.
